Igaguri Chiba as the opening act for Golden Bomber: live on Youtube!

People, harchi is going to Chiba’s live at Tokyo on July 20th and decided to make an international fanproject to show him how many fans like him all around the world. It will be a fanbook with messages, drawings and photos.
Concerning photos, you have to take yourself with a placard on which it’s written “We love you Chiba”. Feel free to find a funny situation and to customize your placard as you want. You can as well send them drawings and customized messages. They accept several contributions by person (for exemple : 1 message + 1 drawing or 1 picture only or 1 message + 1 drawing + 1 picture etc…).
You can send them everything by mail or at harchi’s postal adress (ask via PM) not later than June 30th. More questions, please visit the project’s facebook page.
Not too in detail but here is fanimes report on chiba
Japanese vocalist Igaguri Chiba was one of the first Guests of Honor to kick off this year’s FanimeCon with an hour-long Q&A on Friday evening.
Chiba started his music career as an original member of the rock band Sendai Kamotsu, a collaboration of six co-workers from a freight company. As a homage to their job they wear red jumpsuits, as well as wild makeup to hide their identities. Unfortunately, the bad has been on hiatus since their employer went bankrupt during the recession. Since then, Chiba has continued his career as a solo artist.
When asked what it’s like being a solo artist in comparison to being in a band Chiba said, “When you’re on your own, there’s so much more [you have to do.]” But said that having a back up band and back up dancers helps.
Chiba’s appearance at FanimeCon marks his first trip overseas. He explained how he really wanted to go somewhere he really liked, which led to his trip to San Jose.
As for FanimeCon, Chiba said he likes the cosplay, and that he found the quality of people’s costumes to be very good and was shocked at just how well-made they were. When asked about the FanimeCon’s theme, sports, Chiba stated that his favorite was baseball and that he knows how to play it.
Questions ranged from his favorite music, favorite TV shows, whether or not he has a makeup artist and if he had hair under his shawl. Chiba also spoke about his most embarrassing, yet proud, experience (when he went naked onstage once) and how interesting it is to hear his music in AMVs. He even performed a vocal scale upon one fan’s request and gave hugs and fist bumps to a few other avid fans.
Chiba-san was the headliner performer at MusicFest on Saturday evening, held across the street at the Civic Auditorium.
